4.4 Cycle electronic cam stop

The periodic electronic cam cycle end flag M1813, by which the number of times the electronic cam cycle is only executed can be calculated. There are two ways to stop it:

Electronic cam spindle cycle stop position: D1819D1818; electronic cam cycle stop sign: M1841

1) Pause: Stop the spindle directly, but keep the meshing state; when the spindle is running again, each slave axis continues to run in the CAM curve mode from the stopping point. As shown in Figure 5

2) Cycle stop: The spindle stop angle can be specified according to requirements. When the cycle stop signal is detected, the spindle å¹· does not stop immediately, but continues to the set spindle angular position, and each slave axis also stops according to the CAM curve. The angle corresponds to the position and the electronic cam remains engaged. When the spindle is running again, each slave axis continues to run in the CAM curve mode from the stop point. As shown in Figure 6

4.5 Electronic cam curve smoothing

The CAMdata is generated by the point-to-point method. Due to the limitation of the set points, the CAM curve is relatively rough, and the servo motor will have obvious noise during the running process. If the servo P1-08 parameter is used, the delay or deformation of the command will be caused. Therefore, the CAM curve must be refined (maximum 2048 points) to ensure that the speed curve is smooth. As shown in Figure 7.

(1) B-spline curve

As shown in Figure 8.

Smoothing result: The speed and acceleration are smooth, but without passing through the original point, the number of inserted points and the smoothing coefficient can only be infinitely close to the original point.

(2) C-spline curve

As shown in Figure 9.
