How to fertilize Clivia science

Clivia is fertile, but excessive fertilization can cause rotten roots. Fertilization is generally with Huanpen base fertilizer, applied in spring, autumn and winter once every month or fermented solids cake, organic liquid fertilizer once a week administration. The commonly used solid fertilizers are mainly used for frying and crushing various oil seeds, and also can be used for fermented fermented cake fertilizer and bone powder. The amount of fertilizer applied should be determined according to the size of the plant and the number of leaves. When fertilizing, open the potting soil and bury the fertilizer 2 cm in the soil to avoid direct contact of the fertilizer with the root system. Commonly used liquid fertilizers are mainly fermented bones, beans, river prawn and other tanned juices, and the supernatant is taken and diluted 20 to 40 times. Fertilization time is usually in the early morning and should be poured along the basin to avoid application to the plant. After applying the liquid fertilizer, a small amount of water should be poured in time to dissolve the fertilizer and rinse the newly grown fleshy roots. Depending on the season, the type of fertilization has a focus. In the autumn, the nitrogen fertilizer is applied to the bean cake; in the winter and spring, the phosphorus and potassium fertilizers such as sesame and bone powder are applied; in the summer, the fertilizer is applied with 0.1 % potassium dihydrogen phosphate or 0.5 % superphosphate. Although the top dressing can be carried out all year round, the spraying on the leaves in summer not only makes the seedling grow faster, but also draws more arrows, flowers, and can also cool down.
