The subfamily name is MSCS02. Different subfamilies have different length ranges. When setting the length parameter, each subfamily must be edited. The method is similar. Click OK to close the MSCS02 part model window and complete the editing. The same method is used for editing other sub-family parts, and the GB70-85.prt part common model is saved after completion. After all the standard parts are stored in the same way in GB, the required standard parts can be called directly according to the name of the standard parts in the assembly, which makes the assembly more convenient and can also be automatically in the detailed list. Fill in the standard, name, specifications and materials.

Some attention

(1) It must be to open the basic components in the library file and operate on them. If you just open one of the family tables, you are only working on a single part, not the entire family.

(2) Different standard parts have different internal dimensional variables. When you are remodeling a library, first determine the variable names you need and assign them to the parameters SIZE and LEN or one of them.

(3) The setting of the parameters must correspond to the settings in the assembly drawing schedule. Due to space and the subject of this article, we do not introduce how to set up a schedule.

(4) The operation described in this article is done under the Chinese version of ProE2000i2. Different ProE versions may have small differences in operation.

Modification of the ProEngineer standard parts library, adding some parameters and renaming them, can bring great convenience and reduce errors in the generation of schedules when assembling and making assembly drawings.
