Recently, at the Shengli Oilfield 2011 Scientific and Technological Project Acceptance Assessment Meeting, the project “Study on Sidetracked Oil Well Slimhole Supporting Sandstone Processes†undertaken by Shengli Oil Production Plant process passed the acceptance of the expert group of the Oilfield Branch, and the expert group unanimously considered that The overall technology of the research results has reached the leading domestic level.
The project “Study on Supporting Processes for Sidetracked Oil Well Slimholes and Sand Control†was established in December 2009. After more than one year of hard work, process technicians started the research and research work on sand control difficulties in side drilling, and gradually formed a series of supporting sand control technologies. The series of technologies and innovations are mainly reflected in the following four aspects: First, the research formed a closed-fill sand control process, adapted to the need for sand control from 82 mm to 110 mm in diameter for sidetrack slim holes, and a series of small borehole sand control tools were optimized. Low damage sand carrying fluid, low density ceramsite sand filling material. The second is to form a chemical sand control process in which the side-drilled small wellbore coating sand is pre-filled with a 5% concentration of furfural resin to “sealâ€, and a four-diameter layered packer with a diameter of 70 mm to 100 mm is formed. The third is to study the successful sand-retaining technology for sand control machinery at the later stage of sand control. Through the application of open sand control pipe columns, a sand-supplying construction process is established to realize the recovery, replacement, and secondary compaction of the original sand-prevention pipe string without retrieving the original sand-control pipe column. Build a sand barrier; Fourth, establish a predictive model for production of sand control wells and form a production forecasting software to provide a technical support platform for optimization of sand control design.
This achievement has been successfully applied 30 wells in the oil area under the jurisdiction of the Shengli Oil Production Plant. The success rate of the implementation has reached 100%, and the effective rate of sand control is 95%. As of now, the average exemption period of oil wells has reached 402 days, and the cumulative oil increase has reached 18,000. I ton effectively improves the development of sidetracking.
