Development and Analysis of Standard Parts of Machine Tool Fixtures

The user interface of the machine tool fixture standard library is a stand-alone application (EXE file) that automatically opens the SolidWorks application at runtime and generates a solid model of the part on its interface, after which it needs to be in the machine tool library. Work with the front and back switches between SolidWorks and SolidWorks. Once the machine tool fixture standard library has been successfully installed, it can be found in the "Start" menu "Programs" list in the Windows taskbar. Run the program and the main interface of the machine tool standard parts library appears. The interface consists of a "fixed class" list box, a "fixed small class" list box, a graphic box, and three command buttons. The "Jig Class" list box is used to select the type of fixture, and the "Jig Class" list box is used to select the subclass of the subclass. The "Size Selection" button is used to enter the next form to select the fixture's specifications. After clicking the "About" button, a version information box appears, and the "Cancel" button is used to exit the fixture library. The graphic box is used to reflect the engineering drawings and 3D solid images of the fixture selected by the user in real time. Click the "Size Selection" button to enter the fixture specification interface. This form consists of a fixture specification list box, a graphic box, and three command buttons. The fixture specification list box is used to select the fixture specification, and the graphic frame displays the fixture to be generated in real time. The “Previous” button is used to return to the main interface of the machine tool standard parts library. Clicking the "Exit" button will exit the fixture library. The "OK" button is activated when the fixture specification is selected. Clicking this button will automatically open SolidWorks and generate the required fixtures, and a dialog will appear asking if the user will continue to reference the fixture library.

The use of the fixture standard parts library is exemplified by the selection of the smooth type A block. First select the fixture type "press block", then select the fixture class "Glossy block type A (GB2171-80)", click the button "size selection" to the next form. After selecting the required specification, the "OK" button is activated. Click the "OK" button and a dialog box appears asking the user to determine the access path and name for the fixture to be generated. Using the default name "Glossy Block Type A (GB2171-80)", click the OK button, the fixture library program automatically opens SolidWorks and generates a smooth gauge type A of the selected specification.
