Radiation resistant glass

Anti-radiation glass is a type of generalized optical glass. Includes radiation protection glass and radiation resistant glass.

Optical glass 1 The radiation-proof glass is mainly a glass which has a large absorption capacity for γ-rays and X-rays. When γ-rays or X-rays enter the protective glass, the photoelectric effect is generated inside the glass, and positive and negative electron pairs are generated, and excited states and free-state electrons are generated at the same time, so that the injected γ-ray or X-ray energy is reduced, and the penetrating power is decreased. , played a protective role.

When the density of the radiation-proof glass increases, the shielding ability also increases accordingly. The density of the gamma-ray resistant glass is usually not less than 4.5 g/cm. In recent years, glass having a density of 6.2 to 6.5 g/cm has been used, and a ZF series is commonly used.

2 Radiation-resistant optical glass mainly refers to optical glass that is not easily colored by γ-rays. The name of the radiation-resistant optical glass grade is still based on the optical glass grade, indicating the number of radiation-resistant Roentgen. For example, the optical constant of K509 radiation-resistant optical glass is the same as K9, and it can withstand gamma rays of 10 Roentgen dose. Ordinary glass is irradiated with high-energy rays to generate free electrons, which combine with the absence of internal glass to form a color center. At the same time, the atomic nucleus can be displaced, the normal structure is destroyed, and the color center is generated to color the glass.

CeO2 is introduced into the radiation-resistant optical glass. After irradiation with high-energy gamma rays, since the formula 1 can capture electrons, the color center is not generated inside the glass, and the absorption bands of Ce and Ce are in the ultraviolet region. When the content of CeO2 is too high, the absorption bands in the ultraviolet and infrared rays extend to the visible light region, so that the absorption of the blue region of visible light increases, resulting in a yellow color of the glass. At the same time, the color will be deepened by the influence of other components in the glass, so the content of CeO2 should not be too high. The content of CeO2 in K509 is about 0.4% to 0.5%, and in K709, CeO2 is about 1%.

Carriage Bolts

Generally speaking, the Bolt is used to connect two objects, usually through the smooth hole, which needs to be used together with the nut, and a single bolt does not work. The tools are usually spanners. The head is mostly hexagonal, generally larger. The carriage bolt is used in the groove. The square neck is stuck in the groove during the installation process, which can prevent the bolt from rotating. The carriage bolt can move in parallel in the groove. Because the head of the carriage bolt is round, there is no cross groove or inner hexagon, which can be used to assist the design of tools. In the actual connection process, it can also play the role of anti-theft.
