Type of fire-resistant mud

Depending on the composition of the material, the fire-resistant mud can be divided into: dry earth refractory mud, high-alumina fire-retardant mud, silica refractory mud, and magnesia refractory mud. Refractory mud can be divided into the following three categories according to the different binders:

(1) Ceramic bonded refractory mud It is a mixture of refractory fine aggregate and ceramic binder (plastic clay). Delivery status is dry, it needs to be used after adding water, and it is hardened by ceramic bonding at high temperature.

(2) Hydraulically bonded fire-resistant mud It is a mixture of fire-resistant fine aggregate and a hydraulic binder (cement) that mainly functions as a cement. The delivery state is only dry and is used after adding water. No heating is required when hardening.

(3) Chemically bonded refractory mud consists of a combination of refractory fine aggregate and chemical binder (inorganic, organic-inorganic, organic). Delivery can be either slurry or dry and hardened below the ceramic bonding temperature. According to the hardening temperature, this fire-resistant mud can be divided into two kinds of gas hard and hot hard. The gas-hard refractory mud is usually formulated with gas hard binder such as water glass. Hot-hard refractory mud is usually formulated with a thermosetting binder such as phosphate or phosphate. After the hardening of the thermosetting refractory mud, in addition to having high strength at various temperatures, it also has the characteristics of small shrinkage, tight joints, and strong corrosion resistance.

Refractory mud two kinds of finished products and semi-finished products. The so-called finished refractory mud is that the manufacturer has already prepared the raw material and clinker according to the proportion. When using on the spot, it only needs to stir the water according to the standard; the semi-finished or non-finished refractory clay is not blended with the raw material and the clinker. When used on site, mix thoroughly according to the composition of different muds, and add water and stir evenly as required.

Ordinary refractory mud, its temperature standard is at 1580-1770 degrees Celsius

High temperature refractory mud, its temperature standard is at 1770-2000 degrees Celsius

The special grade refractory clay has a temperature standard above 2000 degrees Celsius.
