The production and export volume of major natural rubber producing countries are now falling

In January, Thailand, Indonesia, and Malay rubber production were 291,000 tons, 239,000 tons, and 85,000 tons, respectively; in the same period last year, they were 385,000 tons, 247,000 tons, and 107,700 tons. In the first quarter of this year, the output of the member countries of the Association is expected to decline by 5.1%. This year's output fell from 10.53 million tons estimated last month to 10.42 million tons.

In terms of exports (including compound glue), Thailand exported 220,000 tons in January this year, and 247,000 tons in the same period last year; Indonesia's exports from 208,600 tons in January last year fell to 165,000 tons this year; Malay exported 10.68 tons from last January. Ten thousand tons fell to 90,000 tons this year; Vietnam exported 70,000 tons in January, compared with 76,000 tons in the same period last year. It is expected that the export volume of the National Association of Natural Rubber Producing Countries will decrease by 6.3% year-on-year in the first quarter, and the annual export will increase by 1% to 7.87 million tons.
