It is reported that the project is developed by Zabuye Lithium Industry Co., Ltd. Compared with the previous caustic production process, the deep carbonization process is short, the product quality is good, and the battery grade lithium carbonate product can be directly obtained. The method is reduced by about 20%.
It is understood that the deep carbonization process reduces the three main processes of causticization, six-stage washing residue and evaporation concentration than the causticizing process. The new process first wet-mills the lithium concentrate to a certain degree of fineness, and then adds the heated and stirred lithium concentrate to the carbonization tower for deep carbonization with carbon dioxide. Under a certain pressure of carbon dioxide, reaction temperature and end point pH, micro The soluble lithium carbonate is converted into water-soluble lithium hydrogencarbonate. Then, the lithium hydrogencarbonate is decomposed and returned to the lithium carbonate precipitate by heating the solution, and then separated by centrifugation, heating and stirring to be separated from the soluble impurities to obtain a battery-grade lithium carbonate product of a desired purity.
In addition, the company is currently in the process of designing a continuous industrial plant, ready to be transferred to small-scale industrial production at the end of this year, and plans to use this new process to implement the second phase of the annual production of 10,000 tons of battery-grade lithium carbonate project construction.
