Baosteel Special Steel Branch develops hexagonal large shaft forgings

Recently, Baosteel Special Steel Branch successfully forged three hexagonal large shafts with a single weight of 24 tons and a length of 8.2 meters, becoming the only manufacturer in China that can make the forgings.

This forging is used to manufacture new crushers that are widely used in the construction industry and is difficult to produce. The technicians of Baosteel Special Steel Branch adopted a series of innovative measures such as uniform deformation of six sides, strictly controlling the angle during forging and keeping the forging surface straight, thus ensuring product quality.

Recently, the product has been delivered to users for trial use and the feedback results are good.
