Cutting of grinding wheel by diamond composite tool

1. What are the disadvantages of the traditional processing methods of grinding wheels?

After the grinding wheel is subjected to calcination and solidification, the size, shape and positional accuracy of each surface are not up to the technical requirements of use, and must be turned, ground and ground. The unit using the grinding wheel is also indispensable for the production and the specifications of the grinding wheel, and it must be turned. Due to objective technical reasons, most of the domestic and foreign countries use traditional knife bowls for turning. In the process of processing it, the grinding wheel drives the quenched 45th steel thin-walled knife bowl to rotate at a higher linear velocity (300-400 m/min), and carries the cutter to remove the excess amount of the grinding wheel. Due to the high-speed rotation of the processed grinding wheel and the knife bowl, the dust and noise in the processing are large, the cutting depth and the feed amount are small, so the processing efficiency is low and the comprehensive cost is high, and the operator is labor intensive. If a large-grain diamond cutter is used, it is expensive, and because the diamond has low bending strength, it is easily damaged during cutting, and the cutting depth and the feed amount when cutting the grinding wheel are small, and it is generally used only in finishing.

2. What are the characteristics of using a diamond composite cutter to cut the grinding wheel?

Diamond composite sheet (PDC) is a superhard tool material developed in the 1970s. The tool made of it is used to cut a variety of non-ferrous metals and non-metals, and can be used to cut the grinding wheel. When cutting the grinding wheel with it, it has the following characteristics:

(1) It has high hardness and wear resistance: the hardness of polycrystalline diamond layer is generally HV7000~9000, and it is consistent in all directions, which is 2~4 times of the hardness of general grinding wheel. The cutting wheel is highly durable and has a volumetric wear ratio of up to 1/13 million. The mass wear ratio can reach 1/300,000, which reduces production costs.

(2) High flexural strength: The flexural strength of diamond is 210-490 MPa, while the composite layer of PDC insert has thicker cemented carbide support with higher flexural strength, and its composite flexural strength can reach 1500 MPa, so no chipping or breakage occurs during the cutting process.

(3) The grinding wheel is easy to collapse when cutting in and out: When cutting the grinding wheel with a tool with a large main angle, the cutting edge is easy to collapse. In order to solve this problem, a circular blade is used to change the main yaw angle, so that the cutting and cutting are smooth. When the feed amount is 1 to 1.5 mm, no chipping occurs.

(4) The chips are in powder form: the chips of the cutting wheel are powdery, and the tool wears in the form of flank wear, which mainly bears the wear of the grinding wheel.

(5) Cutting force and cutting temperature are low: the diamond composite sheet has a high thermal conductivity, which is 1.5 to 9 times that of the cemented carbide and 2 to 6 times that of the copper, so that the temperature in the cutting zone is quickly transmitted. Therefore, the temperature of cutting a resin bond or a ceramic bond wheel with a diamond compact tool is many times lower than that of a cut metal.

(6) Compared with the traditional turning tools, the diamond composite sheet has almost no dust flying during the turning process, the noise is effectively reduced, and the working environment is further improved, which is beneficial to the physical and mental health of the employees.

We produce ARC welder, Mig Welder, MAG welder and TIG welder.

ARC Welding Machine: It is a welder which use electrode. It has the advantages of small size, light weight, high efficiency and energy saving. It is suitable for decoration and outdoor mobile operation.

MIG welder: In addition to using tungsten wire instead of Tungsten Electrode in the torch, like TIG welding machine, MIG welding machine can weld almost all metals, and is especially suitable for welding aluminum and aluminum alloys, copper and copper alloys, and stainless steel.

MAG welding machine: MAG welding can be carried out by short-circuit transition, injection transition and pulse injection transition. It can obtain stable welding performance and good welding joint, and can be used for welding in various positions. It is especially suitable for welding ferrous metals such as carbon steel, alloy steel and stainless steel.

TIG welding machine: The main advantage of the TIG welding method is that it can be welded with a wide range of materials and is suitable for welding of some fine product components. The main areas of application are welding of thin and medium thickness workpieces, and it can be used as weld root welds on thicker sections.
