In the revised draft of the new National Standard on the floor, the E2 standard will be deleted. Through the introduction of most well-known flooring company staff, we can see that the formaldehyde release value of floor products of these enterprises has already been less than 1.5 mg/L. It can be said that these enterprises have already walked ahead of the national standard for the control of formaldehyde release.

The lagging of the national standard on the floor has long been recognized in the industry. It is understood that the current implementation of the most stringent flooring formaldehyde standards is the "European standard", the implementation of the European floor is the E0 level standard, that is, the formaldehyde content per liter wooden floor shall not exceed 0.9 milligrams; and the domestic general implementation does not exceed 1.5mg/L The E1 standard. Only by ensuring that no aldehyde is produced during the production reaction can the “zero formaldehyde” of the floor be added. This undoubtedly increases the cost of floor production for domestic companies.
