At present, online shops and public institutions mainly use "public key cryptography", but "paired ciphers" are considered to be more secure and are the next generation of standard ciphers. It was developed in 2001 and uses discrete logarithm algorithm as a basis for its security. It is considered a "super password" that cannot be cracked.
The joint research team of Japan’s ICT Research Institute, Kyushu University, and the Fujitsu Research Institute successfully cracked the 278-digit “pairing password†using 21 ordinary computers, and it took only 148 days. The results of this study proved that the "pairing password" is not unbreakable.
