2) Crossing: The file is approximately 35 degrees from the workpiece clamping direction and the scar intersects. When the cross is twisted, the contact area between the file and the workpiece increases, and the file is easy to grasp. Crossovers are generally used for roughing.

3) Pushing: Pushing is generally used to slash the narrow plane and use it when the boring tool is blocked. Pushing can not be used to give full play to the strength of the arm, so the cutting efficiency is low, only when the machining allowance is small and the size is trimmed.
