Eight office safety notes

Some personal injuries, fires, electric shocks and other accidents occurred at some office sites. The three main reasons were the slackening of people's safety awareness, improper use of items, and inadequate rescue equipment. Once there are accidents in the office, normal work is interrupted, and it hurts themselves or colleagues, even causing tragic consequences. Therefore, everyone should not wait for the safety of the office. Experts believe that as professionals in the modern society, there should be at least three aspects of safety: building safety awareness, knowing safety knowledge, and mastering safety skills. To this end, they listed the "eight items of attention" in the daily work of the office:

1. Do not stack debris to block staircases and passageways. Hold the handrails up and down the stairs and do not run. Wires and telephones should be kept away from the aisles to avoid tripping people who use the aisles.

Second, hot drinks should be modulated in the designated place, the use of electric water heaters, electric furnaces should be particularly careful, so as not to overload the wire or electric shock injury; leave the office off work, all the electrical power should be closed.

Third, the desk should be kept clean, sharp and sharp stationery should be carefully used and properly placed; file cabinets and cabinet doors should be closed immediately after use to prevent tipping over or tripping people.

4. To work at heights, to take or store items, use a stable ladder. Do not stand on wooden boxes or cartons, swivel chairs or other unstable items.

5. To handle articles that are too heavy, ask others for help in order to avoid hurting the back. When moving animal products, do not allow objects to hinder the advancement of sight.

6. Do not store excess flammable materials in your office; do not block fire-fighting equipment; learn how to use emergency fire-fighting equipment such as fire extinguishers.

7. When the climate is cold, clothing should be kept away from the heater so as not to cause a fire.

VIII. Within the possible scope, all office equipment should be ergonomically designed to avoid excessive fatigue.
