1, the quality of
The overall quality is stable; the anti-glare effect is good; the problems (hardness, palatability) reflected are old problems. In 2005, the formula of the pig material and the raw materials used were relatively stable; the processing technology changed little; however, the quality of some feed plants was improving. Market personnel have been responding to the palatability of pellets; the proportion of pellets to pigs is also decreasing; the salesman's confidence in pellets is insufficient. Improve the confidence of the salesman; improve the palatability of the pellets; improve the quality of the pellets.
2, corn quality
The corn used in 2005 was Grade II; improving the quality of corn must change the way it is purchased. Corn has the largest proportion in pellets; corn contains aflatoxin, zearalenone and other toxins; corn mold and impurities affect the palatability of feed. The corn used by many companies is "grain" corn, which is the corn that the corn purchase point has acquired. It is really difficult for them to make a good start. Nowadays, most feed mills buy corn directly from farmers, check their own quality, and sell them to farmers in the market with high quality and low price. They can also buy small corn suppliers and send them directly to the company after they purchase corn from farmers. Improve corn acceptance criteria and help resolve invoice issues.
3, raw material crushing particle size
Factors affecting pellet feed quality are: feed formulation (40%), comminution (20%), conditioning (20%), die selection (15%), cooling and drying (5%). After finely pulverizing corn, the effect is similar to that of puffed corn. The finer and more uniform the pulverized product, the better the modulation effect. Although the puffed corn and puffed soybean powder have good quality, there is no acceptance standard and good manufacturer. Some feed mills have finely smashed the suckling pig feed and the effect is good. The secondary pulverization technology of fish feed has been mature. It is recommended that the corn, soybean meal and rice protein powder in the suckling pig granules be finely pulverized twice. Equipment transformation needs 10,000 yuan, and it is operable.
4, the hardness of the particles
The hardness of the particles is large, which affects palatability. Pigs are similar to children and like crisp, soft food. However, the hardness is too low, the powder content will increase the α-starch in the secondary powder, and the wheat gluten powder is a natural binder, and the amount of the powder can be reduced to reduce the hardness of the particles. The increase in the amount of fat powder can reduce the hardness of the granules. The hardness of the granules can be measured by the granule hardness tester. The rough test can soak the feed in water and spread the estimated hardness for how long. It is now 15 minutes, and it is more suitable for 8-10 minutes to spread out. Previous tests have been carried out. Adding 0.5% of solid phospholipids (containing 50% phospholipids) can reduce the hardness of the particles very well. The fat powder contains 8% of phospholipids. The specific effect is not clear. Gradually reduce the amount of secondary powder and increase the amount of fat powder to adjust the hardness of the suckling pig.
5, aroma, sweetener
(1) It has a feeding function to improve the feed intake, weight gain and feed utilization of pigs: the palatability of feed depends on its color, taste and smell. Pigs, like humans, have sensory requirements for the color, aroma and taste of food. The flavoring agent for feed actually uses the scent to stimulate the olfactory organs, and then the brain sends out instructions to promote the secretion of the digestive juice and gastrointestinal motility, produce appetite, and initiate feeding behavior;
(2) Effectively cover up the bad taste in the feed and improve the palatability of the feed: the drug in the feed and the bad taste in some raw materials may cause the pig to refuse to eat or reduce the feed intake. After adding the flavoring agent (especially the sweetener), Significantly improve the palatability of the feed, thereby increasing the feed intake of pigs;
(3) Increasing the feed intake of pigs under stress: pigs undergoing stress changes due to changes in conditions such as swarming, weather changes (especially during hot seasons), weaning, and epidemics, affecting feed intake and further Affect the production performance; the use of flavoring in the feed can stimulate the appetite of the pig, so that the pig can guarantee a certain feeding advantage under stress.
